This painting sits firmly within Lindsay’s signature style of blending mythological, pagan, and uninhibited hedonistic themes. His famous “reveller”  compositions are well-known for their crowded, twisting, and energetic arrangements of ecstatic figures. This is a rare offering last sold to the current owner in 1999.
