Greenhill Galleries, founded by Veda Swain, was launched in Adelaide in 1972. Several years later it was realised that there was a need for a similar gallery in Perth - one that handled artists of the high calibre represented in the Adelaide branch.
Represented artists include: Robert Juniper, Jason Benjamin, Ray Crooke, Jasper Knight, Zhong Chen, Matthew Johnson and David Larwill, amongst numerous others.
In 1980 Greenhill Galleries, Perth was established. Until now, the gallery had been located in the Perth CBD, initially, in Howard Street and then for the last 17 years in King Street. Whilst the Adelaide gallery is no longer affiliated, Greenhill Galleries Perth has remained one of Australia’s leading commercial art galleries, under the direction of Paul Swain.

Greenhill Galleries showcases a collection of local, interstate, and international artworks, representing many of Australia’s finest contemporary artists. The gallery has been instrumental in advising and assisting first-time buyers, long-term clients, architects and interior designers, and many major corporate and private collections.
